This is an 8MB flash file which talks about how Google is going to take over all kinds of media. It predicts the doom of Microsoft, Operating systems, Online Shopping sites and The New York Times.

Personally, I think this is a perfect example of Googlemania gone overboard. You're not going use a GoogleOS, GPhone or a GPod or GPal in the next 5 years. I'd love to be proved wrong. Google and its toys do fascinate me, but lets not get carried away.

googlemania is a little tiring, to tell you the truth...except for gmail.......cos I use gmail..lol

Google's core competency is about search and organizing the mess that is the world wide web. They're definitely going to bring out new innovations in all kinds of search - Image search, Newsgroup Search, Product Search, Map Search etc. Gmail too is about organizing your mails and being able to find just about anything in your 2GB inbox.
But to go as far as saying they're building a supercomputer or state of the art OS thats gonna replace your PC is just nonsense. Sure, Rob Pike - the OS researcher, the member of the original Unix team from Bell Labs has moved to Google. But I seriously doubt if his role there is to architect the rumored GoogleOS.

Pulp fiction is a lesson in life and also in screenplay. To tell you the truth, I like the Jules character more but I couldn't find a bad-ass enough Jules avatar ;) (Vincent Vega also has a nice ring to it as opposed to Jules Winnfield!)
